Long time no post. I never really think my posts or would-be posts are even interesting enough to merit a post.
Anyway...so tired today. Busy morning. Seeing a dermatologist on Wednesday...I hope I'm not let down. I have high expectations. Thats the one thing I wasnt blessed with, good skin. Now I'm getting a strange, periodic rash on my chest & arms. Yay rashes. I'm awesome!
Finishing up the semester next week. Cant wait! Gunna have a good month or so off.
One of my moms drinking buddies was found dead 4 days after dying with a can of aersol stuff in her hand. Like computer cleaner stuff? Yeah. Another friend went to rehab. Soon she wont have any drinking buddies left! YAY!

This weekends goal: clean apartment. find a place for EVERYTHING.

At the beginning of the semester we had to hand in a sheet with our names, class goals etc. along with what our favorite movie is. Last night my teacher said "I read everyones sheets, and I must say it kinda scares me when I see someone's favorite movie is the Shining."

I threw my hand up and said, "THAT WAS ME!!!"

Geez, I guess it will REALLY make him nervous if I tell him I work at a cemetery.

When I went to the emergency room for my pulled neck/back muscle, the total cost was $1,793.22. For one hour in the emergency room, a shot, and a couple pills. WOW. I am responsible for $383 of that.
Thank god for medical insurance but STILL.......thats a lot of money.

I found meal-wormish type bugs floating in my mac and cheese water last night while I was cooking it. You have no idea how horribly depressed this makes me. Mac & cheese is prolly my FAVORITE food ever, and to see that really disturbed me.
If I cant trust kraft mac and cheese, who can I trust????

NIN is in NY this week...kinda sad I'm not there to experience them in a small venue for possibly the last time ever...but one shall hold hope that someday there will be an NIN reunion tour...or not. I dont want to see old dudes rocking the stage, I want to remember them how they were...
Some funeral directors are just plain nasty. I had one say to me, "Listen, lady...", I have never had anyone say that to me before. Sorry you work with dead bodies and are unhappy dickhead, its not my problem!
Getting my first manicure tonight. Looking forward to it. I hope they arent violent with me.
I pulled a muscle in my back on Friday morning and went to the ER for the first time in my adult life. I was in and out in one hour but it was still an experience I wish not to experience again. I kind of felt like I was in a foreign country, it was a long hallway with curtained-off rooms...felt very bizarre. Then again thats what I get when I choose to go to a Philadelphia hospital....
Last week off before the new semester starts again. Still gung-ho about being in school again but I do love the time off. That's ok, once I make it to December I get a whole month off....shall be sweet!

Ever since I turned 27 this past weekend I've had this strong realization that time is going super fast and I really need to slow down and enjoy life. After thinking about it, I realize I love my job, I love going to school, I love my friend and boyfriend and my crazy family and my tiny apartment and my car...I love nine inch nails and just music in general, I love seeing bands live, there is so much I love and when i think about it all i get almost euphoric. its actually a pretty nice feeling and ive felt like this for about four days now and I hope it lasts cause its kinda awesome being positive. I guess my angst ridden teens and early twenties are behind me now and I'm appreciating things for what they are.
No i'm not on drugs and yes this is a weird post but i felt the need to share. So there.

Today is 2 years that my dad died.

Yesterday a lady in front of me at Genuardi's left her bank envelope with 50's poking out on the checkout stand. If I wasnt currently writing a paper on ethics I may have considered pocketing it. But, I ran after her and returned it.

Then I helped a handicap lady find size 12 shorts at Old Navy because she couldnt reach from her scooter.
Yesterday was a day of good deeds.

Saw Bruno yesterday...a singing penis.
That is all.

So a few months ago I wrote my brother a letter telling him to stop calling me to come rescue him cause i'm done with it and all it does is stress me out. He's been great since, but then I get a call last night while I'm hanging out with Chris (its ALWAYS when I'm with Chris) and I ignore it because he literally calls me all the time. So I listen to my message like 3 hours later, and its Scott going "Hey Kristy its me, gimme a call as soon as you get this, I'm at wawa and I locked my keys in my car and I dont know what to do."
Now for whatever reason, this REALLY pissed me off. Mainly because: WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO ABOUT IT? I dont have an extra key to his car, I dont even live with him, and if anyone is crawling through an open window or whatever, he is skinnier than I am!
I didnt call him back because it was three hours later, and he'd prolly be pissed at me anyway for not calling him back. But seriously, what did he expect me to do? If it were me (and it wouldnt be cause I have remote locks) I would seriously bust my window and worry about it later. He is seriously the hardest person to have a relationship with, and he is my brother. I hope he finds a girl that can take care of him someday or I swear I am moving away.
